Born for sports, Skullcandy XTplyo / XTfree experience

I believe that there will be a lot of tails to buy a sports earplugs program. In a fun and dripping exercise, there is no sense of music that feels like something. Recently Kodak also received the latest sports earbuds from Skullcandy, XTplyo and XTfree, of which XTplyo is a headset with wire control and XTfree is a wireless Bluetooth headset. Both of these new products were created for sports users. The "fins" protruding from the earbud cavity have already demonstrated their identities, and how the actual experience will look down.

Both headsets I received were in black versions, but with Skullcandy's personality, the multicolor design of headphones is a must. In terms of style, XTplyo and XTfree are very similar, and the slightly long "Fin" part is very conspicuous. If there are tails that use some sports earplugs, they may be puzzled by the design of "Fin", according to the official introduction of Skullcandy. Called "Triple Locking Technology", the earplugs and ears are better fit together by affixing fins, viscose glue technology, and mounting technology.

The actual experience also really felt the advantage of Skullcandy's "triple locking technology". Even if it is shaken vigorously, it can't be thrown off. If you wear it, you don't need to worry about headphones falling off. .

However, although it is very firm to wear, it is also problematic because the fins of XTplyo and XTfree cannot be replaced, so if your ear is small, you may not be comfortable with this type of wear. You may have to wear it for the first time. Some discomfort requires some time to ease. For example, when I wear my own, there is no discomfort in the left ear, but there is a strong foreign body sensation in the right ear. This varies from person to person.

For accessories, XTplyo comes with a storage bag, clips and different sizes of silicone sleeves, while XTfree's accessories replace the former clips with USB charging cords, and the rest are basically the same.

The XTfree Bluetooth sports headset can play continuously for about 6 hours when it is fully charged, which is a very good standard for a Bluetooth headset. As for the stethoscope effect wireless is naturally much weaker than the wired version, but XTplyo can also use the included clip to ease.

In terms of wire control, I think it should not be too much to introduce, and the functions and operations are basically the same as the headsets on the market with remote control.

In terms of sound, XTfree and XTplyo are basically the same in style, and they all belong to plugs that work hard at low frequencies. Such tuning is actually quite suitable for sports earplugs. After all, most people should have a stronger sense of rhythm when running. Let's track. Compared to the two, I personally prefer XTfree's voice. Compared to XTplyo, the amount of low frequency is not so much, and the overall voice performance will be better. As for XTplyo, the amount of low frequency is a bit too much, making the sound a little confusing. If it is a person who likes heavy bass, it may be more suitable, but if you listen to it for a long time, the ears will be very tired.

Although both XTfree and XTplyo are plugs on the underside, their low-frequency texture is not good, and the term “loose” can be used to better overview. However, as a sports earbuds, this sound performance I think is also possible, after all, is not something HiFi, listening to a sense of not much problem with the appearance of the appropriate has passed.

In terms of selling price, the official XTfree Skullcandy flagship store is priced at 749 yuan, and XTplyo is priced at 349 yuan. For sports headsets, there is a need for tails for reference. As for buying songs at ordinary times, I don’t think it’s necessary. The price is still there. Many other choices.
