MediaTek MT8173 is mainly built for flat panels, designed to improve performance while ensuring battery life.
MediaTek MT8173 adopts the big.LITTLE architecture, but it is different from other architecture chips. The MT8173 consists of two Cortex-A53 cores and two Cortex-A72 cores, supporting simultaneous operation of four cores at the same time. The chip is equipped with a PowerVR GX6250 GPU that supports OpenGL ES 3.1 and OpenCL.
In the GFXbench 1080P environment multiple test scenarios, the GX6250 has a very good performance, 1080P T-REX Offscreen scene even ran an average of 26fps good results, there is no doubt MT8173 will bring more powerful multimedia performance.
