5. The electromagnetic flowmeter cannot have spoilers within the upstream 5D distance. The baffle, valve or slide valve should be installed at least 2DN from the downstream side of the sensor.
6. Flanged valves cannot be connected directly to the front or back of the sensor. Because the valve also causes fluid disturbances and increases measurement errors, direct installation is not allowed under any circumstances.
7. When installing, keep the seal, grounding ring and sensor's measuring tube in a concentric position to avoid vortex flow.
8. When transporting the hoisting instrument, avoid using a tube or a sleeve to fit into the measuring tube or use a rope to hang through the measuring tube to avoid damage to the lining. Instead, the rope should be hoisted at the neck of the measuring tube.
9. In the case of serious contamination of the medium, the electromagnetic flowmeter is installed on the bypass pipe. This type of installation allows the valve to be opened and mechanically cleaned without interrupting operation.
