According to reports, Sharp recently launched its own six LED bulbs at a press conference in Tokyo, Japan. The E17 pocket bulb has the highest brightness of 500 lumens in the industry, and the luminous efficiency is also the highest in the industry at 96 lm/W.
The six LED bulbs developed by Sharp are divided into three types: ordinary (E26 type), compact (E17 type) and chandelier type (E17 type).
Among them, E17 pocket LED bulbs include DL-JA51N and DL-JA42. This type of bulb has the highest brightness and luminous efficiency of 500 lumens and 96 lm/W. The E17 chandelier-type LED bulbs (DL-JC2BL and DL-JF2BL) are designed primarily for restaurants and hotels, using light diffusing lens technology to expand the lighting area. The E26 regular LED bulb weighs only 85g and is 50% lower than Sharp's previous LED bulb.
Let's take a look at the specific parameters of the E17 pocket LED bulb. Take DL-JA51N as an example, its brightness can reach 500 lumens, equivalent to the level of 40W incandescent bulb, power consumption 5.2W, life of 40,000 hours, weight 47g. The E17 chandelier LED bulb has a brightness of up to 240 lumens and consumes 4.3W. The E26 bulb has a maximum brightness of 485 lumens and a power consumption of 7.5W.
Sharp's six LED bulbs will be available on August 25th, and the price has not been disclosed.
