On December 14th, the first domestic mobile phone DC ice melting device independently developed by the Hunan Electric Power Company's Institute of Electrical Engineering successfully completed the 35kV mini-line and the 10kV micro-line melting ice in Shaoyang Longhui Xiaoshajiang Substation in Shaoyang, Hunan. Test run tasks. The device can solve the problem of melting ice in transmission line of agricultural distribution network with the length of 35kV and below within 25km.
The length of the mini-line is 13.4 km, the wire type is LGJ-95, and the ice-melting current is 424A during trial run. After 12 minutes of melting time, the temperature rises by 12.2°C. The length of the small micro-line trunk line is 1.732km, the wire type is LGJ-50, and the ice-melting current is 179A during trial operation. After 8 minutes of ice-melting time, the line temperature rises by 9°C. The line warmed rapidly and the ice melting effect was very obvious.
The successful trial operation of the device marked a new stage in the anti-ice rescue capacity of Hunan Power Grid. Following the commissioning of the 220kV main network ice-melting equipment and the 500kV EHV transmission line ice-melting equipment, the anti-freeze-thawing and ice-melting equipment of Hunan Power Grid will be supplemented with weapons. The putting into operation of the device will provide new technical means and strong guarantees for establishing and perfecting the anti-freeze-thawing and ice-melting equipment system for power generation, transmission, distribution and transformation.
