A few days ago, a new device was installed in the high-grade road tunnel in our province. This device is called the active LED active induction system (hereinafter referred to as LED lighting system), which makes the tunnel more bright and the drivers are safer to drive in the tunnel. More importantly, it can also turn off some or all of the original tunnel lighting at the appropriate time to achieve energy saving and emission reduction.
The reporter learned from the Provincial High-level Highway Construction Administration that according to the relevant regulations of the Provincial Communications Department for energy-saving renovation, the Provincial High-level Administration Bureau adopted an LED lighting system in the completed tunnel of the high-grade highway under its jurisdiction. The LED lighting system installed and implemented has high reliability, can be anti-theft, lightning protection, fireproof, explosion-proof, anti-leakage, etc., and can be fully automatic operation, no need to be on duty, economical and practical. In addition, all products and equipment suitable for high altitude climate characteristics are used to highlight environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction. Recently, the LED lighting system in the high-grade road tunnel of our province was installed and commissioned and put into use (except for the left hole of Qingshashan Tunnel). The completion of this project has played a demonstration effect on the traditional lighting mode of the tunnel and achieved the goal of energy saving and emission reduction. It is estimated that the tunnel lighting cost will be reduced by about 40% in 2011.
