China Resources Converse Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has launched two LED driver products, namely the new generation LED fluorescent lamp driver chip PT4207 and the primary side control LED driver PT4203/4.
LED fluorescent lamp driver chip PT4207
The new generation of LED fluorescent lamp driver chip PT4207 is a high voltage buck LED driver control chip that can adapt to the input voltage range from 18V to 450V. It can support hundreds of LED series and parallel drive applications, suitable for AC/DC. LED fluorescent lamps, RGB backlight LED drivers, LED environmental decorative lights and other applications.
Through an innovative architecture, the PT4207 can achieve LED lighting products in the full range of voltages from 85VAC to 265VAC with duty cycles up to 100% to ensure high system performance. The built-in input voltage compensation greatly improves the LED current stability of the PT4207 at different input voltages.
The PT4207 has a built-in 350mA switch and is equipped with an external MOS switch drive port. No external MOS switches are required for applications below 350mA, and external MOSFETs can be used to extend current for applications above 350mA. The LED current can be set by an external Resistor. With the multi-function dimming DIM pin, the LED current can be linearly adjusted using a resistor or DC voltage, or a digital pulse signal can be used for PWM dimming.
The PT4207 has a variety of protection features including load short circuit protection, open circuit protection, over temperature protection and more.

Primary side control LED driver PT4203/4
Both products are LED drivers optimized for low-power lighting applications. Based on a flyback circuit architecture, they are capable of driving multiple LED loads over a universal AC input voltage range, making them ideal for LED lighting drives.
PT4203/4 benefits from the use of transformer primary side induction constant current control technology, no need for peripheral feedback loop, the system scheme is simple and reliable. The optimized current compensation function ensures that the load current remains constant from 85VAC to 265VAC input voltage range. The inductor compensation function ensures that the LED load current does not change with the transformer winding inductance.
The PT4203/4 integrates multiple protection functions to handle various system faults, including cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, load short circuit, load open circuit, feedback path open, and internal over temperature shutdown. The PT4203 is packaged in SOT23-5, and the power tube is externally mounted for 1~10W LED lighting products. The PT4204 is packaged in SOP8 with built-in 600V high-voltage power tube, suitable for 1~5W LED lighting products.
