On the afternoon of November 14, 2017, the "Energy Saving Golden Key Private Board Salon" was successfully held at Huaneng Shanghai Tower. The event was co-organized by the Shanghai Energy Conservation Engineering Technology Association and the Shanghai Strategic Alliance for Distributed Energy Industry Technology. It brought together leading experts, CEOs, and professionals from various energy-related companies, including the Municipal Development and Reform Institute, the Advanced Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Electric Power Design Institute, Shanghai Gas Design Corporation, Kunlun Xinao, Shanghai Power Green Energy, New Smart Source, Shanghai Minghua Power, China Huadian Shanghai, Aerospace Energy, Shenteng Information, and Haier. Mr. Cao Xuegao, Deputy General Manager of China Huaneng Group Huadong Co., Ltd., also attended and delivered a speech, offering valuable insights.
Participants had the opportunity to visit the site and explore the distributed photovoltaic power generation system of Huaneng Shanghai Tower. They also learned about the small-scale, modular, and decentralized distributed energy systems that provide independent cooling, heating, and power supply for buildings. This hands-on experience provided a deeper understanding of the innovative technologies being implemented in modern energy solutions.

Lu Haiyong from the Shanghai Electric Power Design Institute presented an overview of the design and economic benefits of Huaneng Shanghai Tower's distributed energy system. His detailed explanation helped attendees better understand the practical applications and efficiency of such systems.
During the session on "Distributed Energy System Practice Cases," participants raised 26 insightful questions covering topics such as market development, technology, talent cultivation, corporate capabilities, and design standards. After lively discussions, the group identified key concerns and focused on addressing them. Many attendees expressed that this private board format offered a unique platform for knowledge sharing, resource integration, and collaborative problem-solving, which is essential for driving sustainable growth in the energy sector.
