I had a Haier 40-inch LCD TV that showed a black screen during boot. After checking, it was determined that the backlight LEDs were faulty. The user discussed the price and the risk of opening the screen (10 yuan per inch, and no responsibility for any damage). After the user agreed, I didn't mention this directly on the map!

I bought new LED lamp beads to replace the faulty ones on the original backlight board. I didn’t buy the lamp beads separately but used a few boards and cut them with a utility knife. The purpose of this method was to avoid damaging the LED beads due to high heat from a soldering iron. I removed the bad LED beads from the original board, then glued the newly cut beads and their backing plate using 704 glue in the same position as the faulty ones. Then I connected the wires and it worked perfectly!
