Mumbai, July 17th: The data released by the Indian government on Tuesday showed that the country's aluminum production in the first two months of this fiscal year (April-May) was 202,145 tons, an increase of 8.5% year-on-year.
During the same period, India's zinc production was 67,641 tons, up from 58,851 tons in the same period last year; lead production was 9,842 tons, up from 6,981 tons in the same period last year.
India's April-May gold production was 1.49 tons, down from 2.26 tons in the same period last year.
