On the chip side, domestic enterprises are mainly concentrated in the low-end, low-end areas. In the high-power high-end field, there are still problems in technology, mass production, and quality.

Experts from the China Lighting Association pointed out that there is a significant difference between the development of China's LED industry and foreign countries. China is more focused on outdoor LED lamps. The best and most successful is landscape lighting, while foreign countries are more focused on indoor lighting. .

According to reports, compared to indoor LED lamps, the use environment of outdoor LED lamps is actually more challenging. Although LED luminaires can achieve high illumination and low energy consumption, this does not mean that the efficiency of LED luminaires is high because the overall illumination quality is not high.

Taking the desk lamp as an example, if an LED light source is used, it is possible to achieve 3 watts or 5 watts (less than a dozen watts of energy-saving lamps), which is very energy-saving. However, such a desk lamp can only ensure that the vertical illumination is very high, that is to say, the light source is concentrated and the angle of illumination is small, and as a result, the uniformity, radius and range of the light are limited.

In addition, the glare of LED lamps is too strong, and only a part of them are seen in the eyes at a distance, causing the color of the light to be too glaring. Experts from the China Lighting Association also believe that LED street lighting has life problems, but in terms of indoor lighting, LED lamps worldwide are quite mature.

Urgently aiming at high end

At present, an important issue in the development of China's LED industry is that the scale of industrial competition is too small, resulting in high cost and high prices, so it is necessary to expand the scale. At the same time, China's LED manufacturing equipment is mainly in the low-end field, and the high-end field relies on imports, which cannot meet the needs of industrial development.
