The global wind power industry is constantly growing

The report focuses on the development and expansion of global wind power generation, and strongly emphasizes the growth of global wind power generation in 2010: 24%. In addition, the demand for wind power generation in various countries is also expanding. The countries that joined the IEA wind energy cooperation agreement increased from 2.5% in 2009 to 2.8% in 2010.

In 2011, the national power company (Enel) was committed to the development of renewable energy, and new wind power projects spread all over the world. An 18MW biomass power plant in the Rhône Alpes region of France has already been put into use. The power generation of this plant will provide electricity for 15,000 households and reduce CO2 emissions by 40,000 tons.

EGP also grew rapidly in Greece, and a new 5MW biomass power plant was built in Crete. The total installed capacity of national power green energy in Greece is 168MW (including wind power, solar energy and other renewable energy).
