Background of the Project
1. Project Scope: The project includes 7 rain/sewage pumping stations, 3 sewage treatment plants, and 10 water-level monitoring points located under bridges.
2. Network Monitoring: Aimed to establish an interconnected monitoring system for rain/sewage pumping stations and sewage treatment plants to address issues related to isolated, self-contained operations.
3. Safety Measures: Real-time monitoring of water levels beneath bridges ensures the safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians during heavy rains.

1. Synchronized Data and Video Monitoring
- All monitoring points and centers communicate via optical fibers.
- Full integration of data and video for pumping stations and sewage treatment plants.
- Video-only monitoring implemented for bridge water points.
2. Remote Control of Pumping Stations
- Enable unattended operations by remotely monitoring voltage, current, power consumption, water levels, and equipment statuses.
- Control inlet/outlet valves, grates, drainage pumps, conveyors, and other machinery from a distance.
3. Integration with Existing Systems
- Three sewage treatment plants already had their own PLC-based monitoring systems.
- Our company developed interface software to extract data from these systems and transmit it remotely, significantly reducing costs.

Construction Achievements
Since the project’s completion in 2012, management teams at all levels can now remotely access real-time data, operational statuses, and live video feeds from each pumping station, sewage treatment plant, and bridge. Communication with on-site maintenance personnel is seamless, allowing for immediate troubleshooting. The platform consolidates all alarms into one centralized interface, notifying duty staff through audio alerts, visual signals, and text messages. Additionally, the software automatically generates analytical graphs and statistical reports, enabling managers to query historical data based on time, type, or specific monitoring points. This significantly reduces administrative burdens and enhances overall operational efficiency.
