Chinese-made LED bulbs are urgently recalled by the United States

Xiamen Haicang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Foreign disclose August 2, China's production of LED light bulbs by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and R & D Products LLC announced it would take measures to voluntary recall.
The recalled products are Outxpro II and I LED bulbs for mosquito killers, 10 watts, and a white grid housing outside the bulb, measuring 3.1 inches high, 3.1 inches wide and 6.1 inches deep. Has a blue light to attract insects housing on the grid, the following is an LED lighting lamp. The product number DYT-80 and "Kinven" are printed on the product packaging.
The recalled products were sold only about 3,700 online at Amazon.com from July 2016 to August 2016. The unit price is about 20 US dollars. The reason for the recall is that the base of the above LED bulb may fall off the connector, posing a risk of electric shock. As of now, the company has received 18 incident reports of light bulbs falling off the connector. No reports of personal injury and property damage have been received.
US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product, turn off the power and contact the R & D Products to obtain a free repair, including transport and guide removal and replacement bulbs. If a professional electrician is required to disassemble the above lamp base, R&D Products will pay the consumer the relevant fee.
Xiamen Haishu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau reminds relevant enterprises: It should pay attention to the collection of relevant foreign laws, regulations and standards, strict control of product production process and final product inspection to avoid unnecessary economic losses.
