Shenzhen seized fake lighting products worth as much as 170,000 yuan

Shenzhen’s action to crack down on infringement of intellectual property rights and manufacture and sale of counterfeit and shoddy goods has added further results. Recently, Luohu Market Supervision Branch received a complaint from Foshan Electrical Lighting Co., Ltd., claiming that the company's brand-name lamps were found on the construction site of the Shenzhen People's Hospital Surgical Building and the Department of Health Care. The law enforcement personnel of the bureau sent inspections to the People's Hospital of the Municipality and seized a total of 1027 sets of grille lamps and lanterns of the “FSL·River” brand suspected of counterfeiting Foshan Lighting (000541, shares) company, and the market value was approximately 170,000 yuan.

This reporter learned that the surgical building under construction and the cadre health area under construction in Shenzhen People's Hospital were contracted by Shenzhen Shenshen Enterprise Co., Ltd. The materials provided by a Shenzhen company to the supervision agency Shenzhen East Supervision Co., Ltd. stated that the surgical building of the People's Hospital under construction and the lighting fixtures for the cadres' health care area under construction were provided by Foshan Electrical Lighting Co., Ltd.

According to a law enforcement officer's investigation, a company in Shenzhen did not directly purchase lighting fixtures from Foshan Lighting, but signed a sales contract with a company named Shenzhen Deweixuan Industrial Co., Ltd., which stipulates that Deweixuan Company provides it with a value of RMB 890,000. The Yuyuan lighting fixtures are used in the lighting of the surgical building and the health care area of the Municipal People's Hospital. On the same day, the lighting fixtures suspected of counterfeiting Foshan lighting seized by the Audit Section of Luohu Market Supervision Branch were supplied by Deweixuan.

In order to find out the source of these counterfeit lamps, Law enforcement officers of the Lo Wu Market Supervision Sub-Administration conducted an in-depth investigation of Shenzhen Deweixuan Industrial Co., Ltd. and found that the address on the company's business license was false. What is even more suspicious is that the address left by Dewei Xuan Company on the sales contract signed with a certain Shenzhen enterprise (the era of Longgang Street's creation of wealth) is also false, and law enforcement officers could not find Dewei Xuan Company at this address. The law enforcement officer contacted Yi De, the legal representative of Dewei Xuan Company, but Yi Yi dared not show up. Luohu Market Supervision Branch will conduct a thorough investigation of the case.
