Established CDFP Industry Alliance to promote the development of 400 Gbps transceivers

CDFP MSA announced the formation of an industry consortium of seven leading network organizations specifically defining the specifications for interoperable 400 Gbps hot-swappable modules and driving adoption in the industry.

The CDFP industry alliance works together to increase customer choice, reduce end-user costs, and ensure interoperability to expand copper and fiber transceivers more quickly Market.

CDFP MSA members work together to meet industry needs by upgrading technology and providing mechanically and electrically interchangeable products. The Alliance's project scope includes electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces, which may include optical connectors and mating fiber plugs, electrical connectors , rails, front panels, and main PCB layout requirements.
