Intelligent Remanufacturing Manufacturing Patterns

Recently, the field of smart manufacturing has attracted much attention. The report of the Nineteenth Party Congress proposed to "accelerate the building of a manufacturing power, accelerate the development of advanced manufacturing, and promote the deep integration of the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence, and the real economy." Experts said that with the development of a new generation of information technology and manufacturing depth With integration, domestically, smart manufacturing is being accelerated, driving the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing.

Intelligent Remanufacturing Manufacturing Pattern

On October 31, the “2017 SAP Smart Manufacturing Summit” was held in Ningbo. On the same day, SAP's joint efforts with Ningbo Beilun District People's Government to create the “SiP Ningbo Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center” were unveiled. The two sides will use the Innovation Center as a platform to build an industry 4.0 innovation platform for industrial upgrading and economic transformation to help local companies implement smart manufacturing innovation and upgrades.

Chen Yujun, deputy secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, said that as the nation’s first pilot-model city of “Made in China 2025”, Ningbo is actively promoting innovation and transformation of the enterprise's intelligence, and has driven the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. The establishment of the Innovation Center will accelerate the construction of a new type of industrial system in Ningbo, promote the digitalization of intelligent manufacturing in Ningbo and even the whole province, and add new momentum to the construction of a model city of “Made in China 2025” in Ningbo.

“Ningbo is an important manufacturing base in China, and its economic development is full of vitality. We hope to work together with the Ningbo Municipal Government to boost the smart innovation development of Ningbo manufacturing companies,” said Gi Bengmeng, SAP’s executive vice president and president of Greater China.

"Sipu Ningbo Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Center" is located in Beilun District, Ningbo City. According to reports, in the future, SAP will cooperate with Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone Holdings Co., Ltd., and will use the intelligent manufacturing innovation center as a carrier to combine the characteristics of Ningbo and incubate innovation results to help local enterprises in their intelligent manufacturing transformation and upgrading. At the same time, the Innovation Center will also provide differentiated and refined smart manufacturing innovation services to a large number of SMEs through a fully-fledged, end-to-end digital cloud platform and application services to help them achieve smart manufacturing innovation and transformation.

The cooperation between Ningbo and SAP is just a microcosm of the current active development of smart manufacturing in China. At present, in the area of smart manufacturing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangdong are actively deploying. For example, Shanghai has formed a “1+X” smart manufacturing development space layout within the city, and several regions are actively seizing the “speech right” of the smart manufacturing industry. Not long ago, Fraunhofer’s smart manufacturing project center, a well-known applied scientific research institute in Europe, settled in Lingang, Shanghai, and will conduct in-depth and collaborative research on intelligent manufacturing and “Industry 4.0” cutting-edge technologies.

Create a Real Economy New Blue Ocean

Since the financial crisis in 2008, the focus of the world economy has returned to the physical manufacturing industry from virtual industries such as the Internet and finance.

When the global manufacturing industry has encountered bottlenecks in its development (when asset availability is low, data transparency is poor, industrial information security issues, poor production flexibility, and rising labor costs, etc.), the United States has proposed the "Industrial Internet," proposed by Japan. In the industrial rehabilitation plan, Germany proposed "Industry 4.0" and China proposed "Made in China 2025".

In the eyes of experts, the core of these plans is to use the emerging technologies represented by the Internet of Things to transform and upgrade the original manufacturing industry.

The in-depth integration of the new generation of information technology and manufacturing industry will promote profound changes in the manufacturing model, production organization, and industrial form. It will also give rise to a new blue ocean. At present, developed countries, such as the United States and Germany, which focus on promoting smart manufacturing, have a number of excellent multinational companies in the field of electronic information to provide technical and service support, such as GE's Predix industrial Internet operating system, Siemens' MindSphere IoT operating system, and European and American companies. Has taken the lead in the world in the integration of information technology and manufacturing, and seized the height of technology and standards.

China is not far behind us. In December 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the “13th Five-Year Development Plan for Smart Manufacturing”. The "Planning" proposes that by 2020, the development base and supporting capacity of smart manufacturing will be significantly enhanced, and the traditional manufacturing sector will be basically digitized. By 2025, the smart manufacturing support system will be basically established, and key industries will initially realize intelligent transformation.

"Intelligent manufacturing is the only way for China to become a manufacturing power in the next decade, but the 'Made in China 2025' is to promote the upgrading of intelligence and information, rather than just automation." Hua Cheng Securities analyst Zhang Cheng believes that "smart manufacturing The Development Plan (2016-2020) points out the specific directions for the development of smart manufacturing during the 13th Five-Year Plan. Internet-based smart manufacturing is the best direction for future upgrades and will completely change China's manufacturing.

Digital transformation of the manufacturing industry

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology formally announced the 2017 Smart Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Project List, with a total of 97 projects. Judging from the location of the list of projects, 46 of the 97 companies are from coastal areas; from a nationwide perspective, the level of smart manufacturing in the eastern coastal areas is relatively advanced.

In the opinion of professional research institutions, the funding support for “Made in China 2025” key projects in various regions of China during the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period is expected to exceed RMB 10 billion. At the same time, the domestic production and sales of industrial robots continue to record high levels of innovation. It also reflects that the pace of smart manufacturing in China's manufacturing industry in recent years is accelerating.

According to the latest statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics, the output of industrial robots was 13,085 sets/set in September, an increase of 103.2% year-on-year; the cumulative growth rate of industrial robots from January to September was 69.4%.

Experts believe that the next decade will be the most crucial period for China's manufacturing upgrade. The implementation of smart manufacturing is a matter of no delay. The reasons include: improving user experience and customization will be an important future goal of manufacturing; China's population structure, labor costs, Product competitiveness and other factors determine that the traditional expansion model is coming to an end.

At the same time, China already has the three major upgrade bases for manufacturing transformation. First of all, the accumulation of technology and brand is small. Chinese companies are expected to stand on the higher end of the “smile curve”; secondly, the C-side needs of the Internet, to promote the change of manufacturing (Internet) changes in the manufacturing; in addition, the current demand for transformation and upgrading of manufacturing enterprises is even more prosperous. We are eager to improve efficiency and profit.
