This electronic project is a test device. This is a square wave generator with an optional frequency from 6 Hz to 100 kHz, increasing in value over a decade. It has a wide operating voltage range and even provides a visual display output.

This is the most useful square wave generator project for radio signal lines and televisions. The square wave is the most suitable intermediate frequency (IF) zone for test signals and will pass through the IF transformer without any attenuation, regardless of the tuning frequency of the circuit. The 555timer is configured for unsteady operation, which means it will trigger itself to run freely as a multivibrator.
